Vansom.ged201208. Capt. Nicholas Lechmere died young, in 1841, but from what cause is unknown. He & Emilia had two children, Charles Spring Lechmere who married his first cousin, Florence Taylor, daughter of Andrew Taylor & Elizabeth Addis (see below) and Lucy Lechmere, who married James Anderson of Dollar. In 1907, the 70 year old widower of Lucy Lechmere, James Anderson, married the 68 year old spinster Catherine Van Someren, found as a schoolgirl in Devon in the 1851 census, and the daughter of Godli eb Van Someren & his second wife Martha Avenal. (According to Rev. Arthur Taylor, Catherine was known in the family as Cousin Kate”.) James Anderson was also related to the Georgina Brodie who was the second wife of Rev. Joseph Van Someren Ta ylor
